On a recent episode of tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, Yoo Jae Suk set the record straight regarding the rumors that he was apart of the “Shincheonji cult”.In light of the coronavirus outbreak in Korea, and the serious spread of the virus triggered by a “cult” known as Shincheonji in Daegu, a list called “Celebrities in Shincheonji” was spread all over social media and online communities.And one of those celebrities was Yoo Jae Suk, but he set the record straight with just one remark. During the show, Yoo Jae Suk confessed that there had been some fake news about him being a part of the “Shincheonji cult”

Aside from this clarification, Yoo Jae Suk’s agency, FNC Entertainment also addressed the news and announced that they will be taking strong action against false rumors being spread about their celebrities.
