Singer and actor Jun Hyosung has been selected as the new DJ for MBC FM4U's 'Dreaming Radio', replacing Block B Park Kyung.
Jun Hyosung will become the 10th DJ of 'Dreaming Radio'. She is drawing more attention as she is the first ever female radio DJ for the program, which has continued its male radio DJ system for about 12 years (since 2008).
Jun Hyosung said, "Being a radio DJ is what I've dreamed of since I was young," adding, "I'm already excited to meet listeners." Expectations are high on her new challenge, as she has been communicating with the public in a friendly manner, with positive energy and witty talk.
Hyosung debuted in 2009 as a member of girl group SECRET. She has since got herself known to the public through various broadcasting and performance activities.
After OCN's drama 'Cheo Yong' in 2013, Hyosung began her acting career in earnest, and has been expanding her spectrum through various works including SBS' 'Wanted', tvN's 'Introvert Boss' and web drama 'Green To My Heart'. Most recently, her role in tvN's 'Memorist' proved her delicate inner acting.
Jun Hyosung's 'Dreaming Radio' will air at 8 PM KST every night from May 11.
