‘Convenience store couple’ Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung have appeared on the new poster of SBS’s upcoming new Fri-Sat drama series ‘Backstreet Rookie’ with others in a fun and vibrant way!
'Back Street Rookie', directed by Lee Myung Woo of 'The Fiery Priest', centers around a 24-hour convenience store managed by the handsome and hardworking manager, Choi Dae Hyun (Ji Chang Wook). When he partners up with an eccentric new part-timer Jung Saet Byul (Kim Yoo Jung), some of the trouble comes.
Through teaser videos released earlier, “Backstreet Rookie” raised expectations by showing chemistry between Ji Chang Wook, the "mild taste" and Kim Yoo Jung, the "spicy taste" part-timer. There are already various responses such as "When will this convenience store door open?" and "I'm looking forward to the new chemistry between Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung."
Meanwhile, the official poster of "Convenience store's new star," released on June 6, has drawn much attention.
First of all, the main poster, where Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung are together, attracts attention with their chemistry of reversing their relationship. Kim Yoo Jung, a part-timer with a fresh smile, and Ji Chang Wook, a shopkeeper full of crouching beauty, were spotted with chemistry like "Tom and Jerry."
Besides, 10 personality characters of convenience store Saetbyul attracted attention on the group poster. The appearance of other characters such as Sunhwa, Do Sang Woo, Solbin, Kim Sun Young, and more is making viewers more excited.
'Backstreet Rookie' premieres this June 19 at 10 PM KST after currently airing series 'The King: Eternal Monarch'!
