Actor John Lloyd Cruz thanked all the frontliners who are risking their lives while fulfilling their duty as they combat the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“Sa lahat ng frontliners mabuhay kayo, mabuhay kayong lahat. Kulang itong efforts ng Furball para mapasalamatan natin ang frontliners sa kanilang serbisyo. Maraming salamat sa inyo,” Cruz said during the Furball-organized online telethon “Mamatay Kang Hayup Na Covid Ka.”
The online fundraising event is for the benefit of the Philippine Genome Center, the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, the UP National institute for Health, and the Lung Center of the Philippines.
According to a report made by MJ Marfori of TV5’s Aksyon Prime, Ellen reportedly left John Lloyd due to the actor’s ‘weirdness.’
