While filming the looting in an Arizona mall, Jake Paul was arrested but according to this, he responded that he was simply documenting an activity.

Jake Paul, a famous yet scandalous Youtuber was filming the looting scene in Arizona with his crew. Which leads to his arrest and maybe relevant to this situation matter. In response to the news, “Neither I, nor anyone in our group, was engaged in any looting or vandalism,” he wrote, addressing the protests as a reply to George Floyd’s death at the hands of Minneapolis police.

He went on to explain that he, and his crew, were involved in a “peaceful” protest earlier in the day, despite the fact the footage posted online focused primarily on vandalism and looting at Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Jake then added, “We filmed everything we saw in an effort to share our experience and bring more attention to the anger felt in every neighborhood we traveled through, we were strictly documenting, not engaging. I do not condone violence, looting, or breaking the law; however, I understand the anger and frustration that led to the destruction we witnessed, and while it’s not the answer, it’s important that people see it and collectively figure out how to move forward in a healthy way.”

According to him, it is the time to join and protect each other, aside with “attack each other". We all live in a brutal world where violence and racism truly exists, and they are getting more and more intense.

“We are all doing the best we can to be helpful and raise awareness. This is not the time to attack each other, it’s time to join together and evolve.” Jake isn’t the only celebrity who filmed the protests across the country on May 30.
