TXT‘s Beomgyu recently sat down for an interview with Weverse Magazine. When asked about how the “real” him can be described, he opened up about his personal growth.
What is the real me like? Ah, that’s hard. I think I’m slowly becoming a stronger person as I learn to accept hardship. — Beomgyu

He turned sentimental when he mentioned that he expects the future to not always be so bright, saying, “Just because I’m happy now, of course, doesn’t mean I’ll only be happy later on.”
Beomgyu explained that he usually has a main problem that comes each year and this has not changed so far.
I’m the kind of person who has a new issue each year and spends that year grappling with that one thing, so I’m likely to face more problems, too. — Beomgyu
He isn’t too worried about the future, however, since he has experience overcoming his issues from the past.
Anyway, the past me has always dealt with those problems well. — Beomgyu
Rather than being unsure about the “what ifs,” Beomgyu was firm that he wanted to live a happy life treasuring each moment.
I don’t want to worry about things before they happen. I just want to live my life being happy in the moment and experience new things while also being accepting, positive and flexible about everything. — Beomgyu
