Rare Lee, a popular style consultant on YouTube, explained why BLACKPINK Rosé usually has light makeup and eyebrows. Along with this, the consultant also revealed why she thinks dark and thick eyebrows don't suit the female idol well.
K-pop Style Consultant Rare Lee Did a Makeup and Eyebrows Analysis on BLACKPINK Rosé, Here's The Result
On the YouTube channel of Rare Lee, a style consultant who currently has 450,000 subscribers unveiled the real reason BLACKPINK's Rosé doesn't look good in dark eyebrows.
"When I explain the atmosphere that customers who consult with me want to resemble, I mention (BLACKPINK) Rosé a lot. So I'm going to do a makeup analysis following the last hair analysis," she said.
In the video, Rare Lee compared the female idol's rookie days' image to her current global star's vibe and emphasized how the atmosphere in her face changed.
Based on Rosé's early debut photos, she has dark eyebrows and hair color, that's why she gave off a sharper and stronger image.
Although she still looks great on it, Rare Lee implied that the "Gone" singer's beauty stood out when she lightened her eyebrows.
In particular, Rosé's singularity is that her eyelids are short. Thus, to make up for this, the idol's recently released photos for her solo debut, "On the Ground" shows her eyebrows almost similar to her skin tone, making her impression hard to reach.
Rare Lee Gives Tips on How to Do Makeup Like BLACKPINK Rosé
As a result, the style consultant advised those who want to do a similar makeup like the idol, focusing on their eyes.
"If your eyelids are short, you can raise your eyebrows to put on makeup, but you can also remove the color of your eyebrows. That way, your charismatic and strong image disappears a little," Rare Lee said.
In the case of Rosé, she boasts a strong and sexy image when she has thick and dark eyebrows, but when she matches her eyebrows to her blonde hair, it gives off a mysterious and soft atmosphere.
"When putting in the shadow, put it horizontally and emphasize the underline to make the eyebrow color as light as possible," Rare Lee added.
Internet users who watched the video responded, "Rosé looks much better with blonde hair and light makeup as she does now than with black hair and dark eyebrows," and "It's amazing that her image changes significantly with just one color."
