SEVENTEEN Gears up to Make Comeback in October
On August 23 KST, according to a report by Korean media outlet Top Star News, an official from Pledis Entertainment confirmed that SEVENTEEN is currently preparing for a comeback in mid-October.
Previously, it was reported by another Korean media outlet, OSEN, that SEVENTEEN would be making their comeback in the autumn month. The exact date has not yet been announced.
SEVENTEEN's upcoming comeback will mark the 13-member group's comeback in just four months after the release of their eighth mini-album, "Your Choice," back on July 18, which set a new record of selling more than 1.3 million album copies in just the first week of its release. The album's title song, "Ready to Love," also took first place in numerous music shows.
During their promotion for their eighth mini-album, SEVENTEEN, had to go into self-quarantine after coming into close contact with a COVID-19 positive patient. Despite being under self-quarantine, SEVENTEEN continued to release various contents for fans - collectively known as Carats - such as sharing their very unique 'encore stage performance' through Zoom.
Meanwhile, all SEVENTEEN members: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino, have renewed their exclusive contracts with Pledis Entertainment, extending their six years with the company.
