NCT’s new studio album “Universe” held onto its spot at No. 1 on the World Albums chart this week, in addition to spending a second week in the top 40 of the Billboard 200.
TWICE’s “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” similarly maintained its position at No. 2 in its seventh consecutive week on the World Albums chart, on top of charting for a seventh week on the Billboard 200. TWICE also made their debut on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart this week with their hit pre-release single “The Feels.”
NCT 127’s “Sticker” held steady at No. 3 in its 15th consecutive week on the World Albums chart. The album also stayed strong on the Billboard 200 this week, where it extended its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album released in 2021.
Meanwhile, BTS continued to prove their stability by landing a total of five albums in the top 15 of the World Albums chart once again. “Map of the Soul: 7” remained No. 4, followed by “BE” at No. 5, “Map of the Soul: Persona” at No. 12, “BTS, THE BEST” at No. 13, and “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 14.
ITZY’s first studio album “CRAZY IN LOVE” rose to No. 7 in its 14th week on the chart, while TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” came in at No. 8 in its 31st consecutive week, extending its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album released in 2021.
Finally, SEVENTEEN’s “Attacca” ranked No. 9 this week, followed by BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” at No. 11 and ENHYPEN’s “DIMENSION : DILEMMA” at No. 15.
