On Wednesday, May 5, The Special Awards released their "100 Best Faces in the World 2021" list. Numerous K-pop artists were able to snatch a spot within the top 100.

This ranking is based on fan votes. Fans would go to the Special Awards' Instagram page and like the post of their chosen nominee. They would also comment and leave hashtags on the comment section of their selected individual.

For extra votes, fans could also share the posts to their social media accounts with the hashtag #100thebestfaceintheworld2021.

BTS V is the Best Face in the World for 2021

Among the 100 faces worldwide, BTS member V rose above the ranks and claimed first place in "The Special Awards' "100 Best Face in the World 2021." According to the Special Awards' Instagram account, V was leading the rankings with 14.99% of the votes.

Ranking at the top, V beat his fellow BTS member, ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, BLACKPINK's Lisa, EXO's Chanyeol, and actor Hwang In Yeop.

BLACKPINK's Lisa is the Best Female Face in the World for 2021

Lisa is the highest-ranking female individual within the top 100, ranking in at number seven. For the spot, she beat her fellow BLACKPINK members, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, ITZY's Yeji, and more. Just a few days before the results were released, the Special Awards announced that she was in sixth place.

However, BTS member Jin was able to rise up the ranks and overtake her spot.
