All 16 K-Pop Groups And Soloists That Have Debuted So Far This Year

Even though we’re only about a third of the way through 2021, there have been over a dozen debuts from new K-Pop groups and soloists!

Some, such as Red Velvet‘s Wendy, BLACKPINK‘s Rosé, and MONSTA X‘s I.M, have been highly anticipated solo debuts, while others, especially groups from smaller companies, weren’t as anticipated but have still taken the industry by storm.

Here’s a look at all 16 K-Pop debuts that have happened so far this year!

NTX debuted on March 30 under Victory Company with 10 members: Hyeongjin, Yunhyeok, Jaemin, Changhun, Hojun, Eunho, Jiseong, Seongwon, Gihyun, and Rawhyun. Their debut song “Kiss The World”, off of the album Full of Lovescapes, currently has 37.6k views on YouTube!

ATO6 debuted on February 24 under YG Kplus Entertainment with 6 members (who are also models!): Lee Gihyeon, Park Hong, Yoo Hyunwoo, Son Hyunwoo, Shin Yongguk, and Kim Hyeonwoo. Their debut song, digital single “Runway”, currently has 157.5k views on YouTube!

Eternity, an artificial K-Pop group, debuted on March 22 under Pulse9 with 11 AI members: Minji, Seoa, Sujin, Dain, Yeoreum, Yejin, Jaein, Jiwoo, Hyejin, Sarang, and Chorong. Their debut song, “I’m Real”, currently has 520.6k views on YouTube!

AZER debuted on March 4 and was formed by the K-Pop department of Howon University, with 7 students as the members: Youkyung, Yujin, Juyeon, Jaein, Mijeong, Minseo, and Soyeon. Their debut song, digital single “Elegante”, currently has 592.4k views on YouTube!

PIXY debuted on February 24 under ALLART Entertainment with 6 members: Ella, Lola, Satbyeol, Dia, Sua, and Dajeong. Their debut song, digital single “Wings”, currently has 1.55 million views on YouTube!

KINGDOM debuted on February 18 under GF Entertainment with 7 members: Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, Jahan and Chiwoo. Their debut song “Excalibur”, off of the album History Of Kingdom : PartⅠ. Arthur, currently has 1.65 million views on YouTube!

Ciipher debuted on March 15 under RAIN Company with 7 members: Hyunbin, Tan, Hwi, Keita, Tag, Dohwan, and Won. Their debut song “I Like You”, off of the album I Like You, currently has 1.92 million views on YouTube!

J.Don, leader of N.Flying, debuted as a soloist on February 22 under FNC Entertainment. His debut song “Clicker”, off of the album On The Track, currently has 2.01 million views on YouTube!

Sorn, lead vocalist of CLC, debuted as a soloist on March 23 under Cube Entertainment. Her debut song, digital single “Run”, currently has 2.76 million views on YouTube!

I.M, lead rapper and maknae of MONSTA X, debuted as a soloist on February 19 under Starship Entertainment. His debut song “God Damn”, off of the album Duality, currently has 4.37 million views on YouTube!

TRI.BE debuted on February 17 under TR Entertainment and Mellow Entertainment with 7 members: Songsun, Kelly, Jinha, Hyunbin, Jia, Soeun, and Mire. Their debut song “DOOM DOOM TA”, off of the album Da Loca, currently has 5.67 million views on YouTube!

Wendy, main vocalist of Red Velvet, debuted as a soloist on April 5 under SM Entertainment. Her debut song “Like Water”, off of the album Like Water, currently has 9.98 million views on YouTube!

MIRAE debuted on March 17 under DSP Media with 7 members: Lee Junhyuk, Son Dongpyo, Khael, Park Siyoung, Lien, Jang Yubin, and Yoo Douhyun.  Their debut song “KILLA”, off of the album KILLA, currently has 15.28 million views on YouTube!

PURPLE KISS debuted on March 15 under RBW with 7 members: Park Jieun, Na Goeun, Dosie, Ireh, Yuki, Chaein, and Swan. Their debut song “Ponzona”, off of the album Into Violet, currently has 19.23 million views on YouTube!

T1419 debuted on January 11 under MLD Entertainment with 9 members: Noa, Sian, Kevin, Gunwoo, Leo, On, Zero, Kairi, and Kio. Their debut song “Asurabalbalta”, off of the album Before Sunrise Part. 1, currently has 31.10 million views on YouTube!

Rosé, main vocalist and lead dancer of BLACKPINK, debuted as a soloist on March 12 under YG Entertainment. Her debut song “On The Ground”, off of the album R, currently has 152.9 million views on YouTube!
