GOT7 are officially back!
Recently, an industry insider via Joy News24 announced GOT7 will be making their comeback as a full group in May and have recently started preparing for their promotions. This will mark GOT7’s first group release in 14 months, as the group released their song “Encore” in February 2021.
BamBam then confirmed it by liking a Koreaboo article regarding the news on Twitter.
Now, GOT7 has officially returned with a rebranding.
GOT7 released a teaser, revealing a new logo across social media, captioned, “GOT7 IS OUR NAME.”
Additionally, GOT7 has launched new social media channels, including Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
Both their Instagram and TikTok handles are the phrase “GOT7 is our name.”
The new accounts also include the rebranded GOT7 logo.
GOT7’s official hashtags on Twitter also include the new logo.
So, Ahgases are very excited to continue posting about GOT7 with the related hashtags, promoting the comeback.

The new logo is a variation of the group’s old logos. It incorporates GOT7’s history but is updated to reflect the present in a classy and minimalist fashion.
GOT7 previously launched their new YouTube channel with the release of “Encore” last year. Recently, they made some updates to it, causing Ahgases to speculate about the group’s comeback, which was later confirmed.
Likewise, apparently, GOT7’s new Twitter account was created last month.
GOT7 members such as Mark Tuan, Yugyeom, BamBam, Youngjae, and Jay B are sharing the news regarding the new logo and accounts across social media, getting the word out.
This is pretty — Youngjae
GOT7 has rebranded and launched new social media accounts since they are no longer under JYP Entertainment. The original accounts are naturally linked to the company.
Since leaving JYP Entertainment, the members have all released solo projects. Still, they emphasized that the group had not disbanded and would actually make yearly comebacks.
Since all seven members departed from JYP Entertainment, leader Jay B has worked hard to learn more about business in order to obtain all copyrights, trademarks, etc., associated with GOT7, including group and sub-unit names.
I really wanted to release the song [‘Encore’] so I’ve been taking care of all the documents needed, distribution, trademark transfer, practical things, etc. I sorted it out all the while learning [more] about these things. — Jay B
Ahgases have also noticed that GOT7 is listed as a Warner Music Korea artist.
