Gaon Chart has gone through the data and released its cumulative album sales data over the past decade. 

The Gaon Chart is the national chart of South Korea and is intended to be the equivalent of Oricon in Japan and Billboard in the United States.

On January 10th, Gaon Chart reported its decade-long album sales data ranging from January 2011 to November 2021.

The best-selling female K-pop artist turned out to be TWICE with 7,299,094 copies of album sales.

The best-selling male K-pop artist was BTS after selling 32,783,223 copies of albums.

Among the soloists, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon sold the most albums as a female soloist (1,051,567 copies) while EXO's Baekhyun sold the most albums as a male soloist (2,657,711 copies).
