'Snowdrop' With Jung Haein, BLACKPINK Jisoo, Kim Hyeyoon Reportedly Completes Filming

Filming for the upcoming JTBC drama reportedly has been completed.

On July 27th, alleged staff members of the drama posted photos from the filming set on their Instagram. Captions in the photos read, "The long road we're on for the past year has come to an end," and "Final filming."

As you might have known, the production of the drama faced speedbumps several times as it was embroiled in controversy of allegedly defaming South Korea's democracy movement. JTBC side has strongly denied all the accusations.

'Snowdrop' will have the set of 80s. The drama will focus its story on Yeoju, a female college student who mistook Namjoo as an activist. Namjoo is a North Korean armed communist spy who came down to South Korea. Yeoju and Namjoo then fell in love. The drama will be written by scriptwriter Yoo Hyunmi and director Jo Hyuntak, who previously worked together for the hit JTBC series 'SKY Castle.'

The drama will feature Jung Haein, BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Kim Hyeyoon, Jang Seungjo, Yoon Seah, and Jung Yoojin (Eugene Jung) as the main cast of the drama, and is scheduled to premiere later this year.
