BTS Announces Release of 'Butter' Carol Remix

On December 3, KST, BTS' label, Big Hit Music, announced through the global fan community platform Weverse that the group will be releasing a new remix of "Butter" on the same day at 5 pm KST.

According to the announcement, the remix will be a special treat for the coming holidays and will be a carol version of the hit summer song, where fans can feel the warm emotion and new charm of "Butter" through a light and thrilling atmosphere.

This will also mark the fifth remix of "Butter," following the song's "Hotter," "Sweeter," "Cooler," and Megan Thee Stallion remixes, with each remix adding a different vibe to the song.

According to Big Hit Music, BTS prepared this "Butter" carol remix as a way to express their gratitude for the fans' passionate support and love for the song.

Meanwhile, "Butter," which was released back on May 21, became the song of the summer after it topped multiple charts around the world and broke numerous records, such as setting the new record for the biggest song debut in Spotify history - to which they earned a Guinness World Record.

It is a dance-pop, disco-pop, and EDM song that was written by BTS' leader, RM, Sebastian Garcia, Jenna Andrews, Alex Bilowitz, Stephen Kirk, Robert Grimaldi, and Ron Perry, with the latter three also taking part in the song's production.
