BTS's golden maknae Jungkook was included in Esquire Magazine's "Most Memorable Personalities of 2020" list.

On Thursday, Nov. 26, Esquire released an article online titled "Since We're All Staying Home, Build Yourself a Perfect 2020 Thanksgiving Table." In the article, readers are encouraged to put together their own Thanksgiving table by selecting people from their list of "Most Memorable Personalities of 2020." The list ranges from celebrities to pop culture figures, such as TV and movie characters. Each personality has his/her own pros and cons at the table.

Readers can pick two people for their parents, up to three siblings, three aunts and/or uncles, one grandmother, one grandparent, and up to four cousins. Esquire compared their fun game to a fantasy football team.

Jungkook was mentioned as a candidate for a potential sibling. His pro is that he has had the best year out of anyone at the Thanksgiving dinner, but he will not rub it in your face. His con, however, is that if you post a photo with Jungkook on social media, your mention will definitely blow up!

That con is no exaggeration! In 2018, he broke the most real-time viewers' record for a solo live-stream in all of VLive history. In December of that year, a video of him singing in the studio became the most retweeted tweet in South Korea for 2018. In a survey conducted by Gallup Korea in 2019, Jungkook was ranked as the third most-loved celebrity in South Korea. In that same year, Jungkook was named as the most-search male K-pop idol on Google.

Jungkook is also known as K-pop's "Sold Out King" due to his impact and influence, causing things to get sold out quickly if he is seen using those items. Examples of items he caused to sell out include Downy fabric softener, wine, the book "I Decided to Live as Me" by Kim Soo Hyun, and modern-day hanbok.

The idol is known for spearheading the "Modern Hanbok" fashion trend in the South Korean industry. After the idol was seen wearing modern-day hanbok in an airport, other celebrities were also seen sporting the look. Notable celebrities include Jun Hyun Moo, Jang Do Yon, Gong Hyojin, Oh Seung Han, and Park Joo Ho.

Jungkook is the only K-pop idol mentioned on the list. However, South Korean director Bong Joon Ho made a list. Bong Joon Ho is the Academy-award winning director of "Parasite" and is the first South Korean director to win an Oscar. His pro is that he has the best stories out of anyone at the table. His con, however, is how you keep catching him making mom's dolls or figurines kiss, which references how he made his Oscar trophies kiss!

The two South Korean celebrities sit on the list among big-name Western celebrities, such as Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Brad Pitt, and The Weeknd. Who are you inviting to your Thanksgiving table?

BTS released their fifth studio album, "BE" on Nov. 20, with the title track "Life Goes On." The boys debuted the performance of the song two days after its release, at the 2020 American Music Awards (AMAs).
