The GQ Korea magazines featuring BTS Jimin as the cover were completely sold out in just a few days. It also ranked first on different Korean online stores.
BTS Jimin's GQ Korea Cover Gets Sold Out in Just 5 Days + Tops Best-Seller List of Different Korean Online Stores
On Dec. 10, BTS simultaneously graced the covers of both GQ Korea and Vogue Korea, wearing Louis Vuitton's "Spring/Summer 2022" collection for the magazines' January issue. The new release consists of a group cover and individual covers for all seven members.
On the same day, pre-orders for the new issue began, and Jimin's individual cover for GQ Korea showed great popularity as it quickly rose to the top of the best-seller charts of various online stores in South Korea.
Thousands of fans continued to place their orders since then. And, as a result, BTS Jimin's GQ Korea cover ultimately sold out within five days.
On Dec. 15, Jimin's individual cover for GQ Korea ranked first on the three major Korean online stores. In particular, it topped YES24's "YES24 Bestseller" list and Weekly Bestsellers Chart. It also placed first on Aladdin's weekly and monthly bestsellers charts as well as Kyobo Book's daily and weekly bestseller charts.
Notably, Jimin's cover became the No. 1 bestseller on all three of the major Korean online stores for five days in a row. And recorded the highest sales amount among all the eight GQ Korea cover types.
Over on the Gmarket, the GQ Korea cover featuring BTS Jimin became the first to sell more than 1,500 copies among the BTS members' individual covers.
Apart from Korea, Jimin's GQ Korea cover is also popular in Japan. It ranked first on the real-time total sales list of Amazon Japan on Dec. 14 and 15. He was the highest-ranking BTS member on the list.
There's no doubt that BTS Jimin is the top idol in South Korea, considering his consistent domination in the brand reputation rankings for boy group members. As of November 2021, he is included in the list for 37 months and ranked first for 35 consecutive months.
BTS Jimin Surprises Fans with His Long-Haired Pictures Uploaded to Weverse
On Dec. 14, BTS member Jimin took to Weverse to share a few photos of his new hairstyle. In the images, he is wearing a black beanie with grey hair extensions. The "Serendipity" singer also shared a photo of how the hair extensions were attached to his hair.
During the "Permission to Dance on Stage" concert in Los Angeles, Jimin was spotted with silver highlights in his hair. Fans speculated that he had dyed his locks but it was later unveiled by Pretty Bomi Salon that the male idol had actually gotten hair extensions.
While Jimin calls his long-haired style funny, many fans were impressed by his visuals and his ability to pull off any hairstyle perfectly. Numerous fans expressed their amazement on Twitter
