The Top 50 doesn't consist of those in just the music field, but from different fields, such as events, entertainment, sports, and the like.

Not only that, but Jimin is also the only Asian solo artist to make it within the Top 50, while fellow K-Pop groups ATEEZ, Stray Kids, and ENHYPEN also made it on the list at No. 20, No. 45, and No. 47, respectively.

This isn't the first time Jimin boasted his unrivaled popularity in Italy. Back in 2019, his hashtag "#Jimin" ranked at No. 5 and was the only Asian solo artist included in the most mentioned hashtags within the entertainment field.

In fact, Jimin has been entering the list every year since 2016 as one of the top Asian stars, maintaining his global power and popularity. He even went on to rank at No. 2 on the list, surpassing Western artists such as the late Prince, Justin Bieber, and Beyonce.

BTS Jimin is the 'King of Twitter'

It's also not a surprise that Jimin is topping Twitter mentions, as he is nicknamed the "King of Twitter."

According to Twitter's year-end data back in 2018, "#Jimin" was ranked at No. 8 for the most mentioned musician around the world, and at No. 9 for the most mentioned celebrity, and making him the only K-Pop artist along with BTS to be included in the charts.

In the same year over at Twitter Asia, Jimin was selected as the one with the most No. 1 hashtags. In 2019, he ranked within the Top 5 hashtags used for K-Pop in India and the United Arab Emirates, making him the only artist mentioned. In 2020, he ranked No. 5 on Twitter Singapore, and at No. 2 in South Africa.

More recently, Jimin set a new Twitter record this year for his 27th birthday back on October 13, with Jimin's name being mentioned more than a whopping 64.5 million times on Twitter in just one day, and becoming the No. 1 real-time trending mentions in 208 regions around the world.

In addition to his birthday record, Jimin is also the most mentioned K-Pop star in 62 regions in the United States and 26 regions in the United Kingdom, making him the first to set a new record by simultaneously topping 28 global real-time trend rankings for three consecutive years.

With Jimin's powerful global influence, it's no wonder he is the "King of Twitter"!
