BLACKPINK Lisa Scores New Spotify Milestone as the Fastest K-pop Soloist to Do So
On Dec. 22, it was revealed that BLACKPINK member Lisa has reached an impressive total number of streams on Spotify across all credits. This means the total streams were accumulated by both her solo songs and collaboration track/s.
So far, Lisa has released two solo tracks ("LALISA" and "MONEY") and one collab song, which is "SG" with DJ Snake, Ozuna and Megan Thee Stallion, this year.
On Spotify, "LALISA" has surpassed 147 million streams while "MONEY" has crossed 285 million streams. Meanwhile, "SG" has now more than 65 million streams.
When put together, the total Spotify streams of BLACKPINK Lisa's three solo works have hit 500 million. She becomes the fastest K-pop soloist in history to attain this milestone, doing so in only 103 days since her debut in September this year.
What makes this accomplishment more notable is that the remarkable total streams come from only three songs. This only shows how much attention and love Lisa's songs have received in the past months, and probably in the coming months.
In the past weeks, BLACKPINK Lisa's "LALISA" and "MONEY" have surpassed other K-pop releases when it comes to being the most-streamed album and track on Spotify.
As of Dec. 14, "MONEY" has become the tenth most-streamed song by a female K-pop artist on Spotify surpassing TWICE's "Fancy." The Top 10 most-streamed female K-pop songs in history are now occupied by BLACKPINK, Jennie, and Lisa.
On Dec. 16, "LALISA" has become the sixth most-streamed K-pop female album in history on Spotify surpassing TWICE's "Summer Nights."
Other than that, BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY" has now spent 100 days (as of Dec. 19) in the Top 200 on the Global Spotify Chart, becoming the first song by a K-pop soloist to do so.
On Dec. 21, "MONEY" has become the fifth longest-running female K-pop song on Global Spotify Top 200 (102 days), surpassing BLACKPINK's "Lovesick Girls" (101 days).
Congratulations to BLACKPINK Lisa on her new Spotify milestone as well as on her recent feats on the platform!
