According to YG Entertainment, the number of subscribers of BLACKPINK's official YouTube channel has exceeded 44 million at 9 AM on August 16. With this, BLACKPINK has surpassed Eminem and become the forth most subscribed artists worldwide (the top 3 are Justin Bieber, DJ Marshmallow and Ed Sheeran). This is the first record among all K-pop artists.

This is the best achievement of BLACKPINK in four years since their debut in South Korea and about a year and a half after entering the U.S. market . The number of YouTube subscribers is the most objective indicator of overseas popularity and recognition. So, surpassing Eminem in his 23rd year of debut, the girls have proven their global influence.

In particular, BLACKPINK is unrivaled when it comes to YouTube, as their performances here are always overwhelming. Their channel is the leading K-Pop single channel, which has been gaining 100,000 subscribers every day since the release of 'How You Like That'.

The pre-released title track 'How You Like That', released on June 26, has shaken the global music market. The MV was officially listed in a total of five Guinness World Records categories, including 'The most viewed YouTube video in the first 24 hours', with an amazing record of 86.3 million views on its first day. Since then, the MV has surpassed 100 million views in about 32 hours, 200 million views in seven days, and 300 million views in 21 days, making it a "YouTube Queen". The choreography video of 'How You Like That' is also running at a fast pace to 200 million views.

Other MVs such as 'Boombayah' (900 million views), 'Kill This Love' (900 million views), and 'As If It's Your Last' (800 million views) are also showing a massive number of views.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will present a collaboration song with world-renowned pop star Selena Gomez on August 28.
