“Big Mouth” Finale Ends On Its Highest Ratings Yet
On September 17, the popular drama starring Lee Jong Suk and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA achieved its highest viewership ratings yet for its series finale. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “Big Mouth” scored an average nationwide rating of 13.7 percent, making it the most-watched drama in its time slot—and setting a new personal record for the hit show.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “Today’s Webtoon,” which also came to an end last night, rose slightly to an average nationwide rating of 1.6 percent for its own series finale.
tvN’s new mystery drama “Blind” fell to an average nationwide rating of 2.4 percent for its second episode, while “Little Women” remained first place in its time slot across all cable channels with a nationwide average of 7.0 percent.
“Little Women” also reached its highest ratings yet among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, taking first place in its time slot across all channels (including public broadcast networks) with a nationwide average of 3.4 percent.
JTBC’s “The Good Detective 2,” which has just one episode left in its run, earned an average nationwide rating of 5.3 percent ahead of its series finale.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s long-running weekend drama “It’s Beautiful Now”—which similarly has just one episode left to go—rose slightly to an average nationwide rating of 26.4 percent for its penultimate episode, continuing its reign as the most-watched program to air on any channel on Saturday.
