According to StarNews, 'The Show's production team wants to prevent the spread of coronavirus, as the number of positive cases confirmed in the Seoul metropolitan area is increasing.

'The Show' was also cancelled on August 18, but it was not aired due to other reasons, not COVID-19. However, for the next broadcast, it is believed that the government's upgrading to the second level of social distancing has affected the situation.

In April, 'The Show' also suspended its broadcasts as a precaution after a staff from Yue Hua Entertainment, who was at the recording site at the time, was confirmed positive to COVID-19. Since then, the production team has been tested as well as all personnel who were present at the site. The show has also worked hard to prevent the disease in the future.

In Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, the number of confirmed cases is rapidly increasing again, and the production teams of music programs are having a headache. SBS 'Inkigayo' and KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' have yet to disclose their line-up this week, while Mnet's 'M Countdown' and MBC's 'Music Core' are currently broadcasting as scheduled.
