September has officially passed, October arrived with many desirable plans from Korean idol groups and artists. After the Chuseok holiday, a series of comebacks will come one after another, with music products that have been carefully prepared. Right from the beginning of the month, the Korean music industry has witnessed a big “clash” between two big groups. BLACKPINK released the first full album in their career after 4 years of debut titled ‘THE ALBUM’ with the title track ‘Lovesick Girls’.
On the same day, BTS collaborated with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo to release a remix version of ‘Savage Love’ called ‘Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)’.
SF9 will celebrate their 4th anniversary on October 5 with a special album titled ‘SPECIAL HISTORY BOOK’ and the title track ‘Shine Together’.
The rookie male group from OUI Entertainment – WEi, will have their official debut on October 5 with the mini album ‘IDENTITY: First Sight’ and the title track ‘TWILIGHT”‘. The group consists of 6 members Kim Yo Han, Yoo Yong Ha, Kim Jun Seo, Jang Dae Hyeon, Kim Dong Han and Kang Seok Hwa, most of which are already quite familiar with the audience through survival reality shows.
Solo singer Ailee will release her 5th mini album ‘I’m’ and the fall ballad ‘When We Were in Love’ on October 6.
Golden Child will make their comeback on October 7 with the single album ‘Pump It Up’.
A unit called Chocome of WJSN composed of Soobin, Luda, Yeoreum and Dayoung, will also be releasing the single album ‘Hmph!’ on that day.
Weki Meki will return on October 8 with their 4th mini album titled ‘New Rules’.
Kyuhyun (Super Junior) will release a new autumn song, the 2nd single in his project ‘PROJECT: 季’ (‘PROJECT: Season’). The MV will feature actor Yoo Yeon Seok.
DAWN will be making a comeback on October 9 by releasing the mini album ‘DAWNDIDIDAWN’ with the title track featuring Jessi.
Former BESTie member Dahye will make her solo debut on October 10 with single ‘Poison’, a remake of Um Jung Hwa’s famous song.
New girl group Refund Expedition (Lee Hyori, Uhm Jung Hwa, Jessi and Hwasa of MAMAMOO) will officially debut on October 10.
PENTAGON‘s comeback is scheduled for October 12, with the release of their 10th mini album ‘WE: TH’. This comeback will mark the return of YanAn, the member who has been on hiatussince July 2019.
The 23 members of NCT 2020 will be releasing the full album ‘RESONANCE: Pt. 1’ on that day, too, with two title tracks ‘Make A Wish (Birthday Song)’ and ‘From Home’.
VERIVERY will return to the K-Pop race on October 13 with the 5th mini album ‘FACE US’.
Weeekly will have the first comeback in their career that day with the mini album ‘We Can’.
Girl group Hint will be making a comeback on October 14 with their 2nd single titled ‘Eh-Oh’.
A secret artist under YG Entertainment is expected to release a new product on October 16. So far, only one mysterious teaser image has been revealed.
B1A4 will make their long-awaited comeback with a new full album on October 19.
LOONA will also release the mini album ’12:00′ and the title track ‘Why Not?’ on that day.
TWICE will make a comeback with the 2nd full album of their career on October 26.
TXT will also return that day with their 3rd mini album titled ‘minisode1: Blue Hour’.
CL plans to release a new song in October after releasing the song ‘+ POST UP +’ in September. SEVENTEEN will also make a comeback this month, though the exact date is still a mystery. WINNER Song Mino’s October solo comeback plan has also been announced, and LABOUM’s new mini album will be released in October as well.
