TREASURE’s album has already gathered more than 200,000 pre-orders, turning the boys into the biggest K-Pop rookie this year. Pre-orders for ‘THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER ONE’ began on the 29th of last month and surpassed 100,000 copies in two days, 150,000 copies in four days, and 200,000 copies on August 12.

This is not only the largest number of a new YG artist, but also the most noticeable figure among K-Pop rookies in 2020. In particular, their pre-orders in Japan and China have increased in the rankings, realizing their popularity in the global market from the start.

On top of that, TREASURE topped iTunes’ top song charts in 19 countries on the first day of its release with the title track ‘BOY’, and was also ranked at the top of Hanteo Chart’s record category.

The music video for ‘BOY’ also showed off its unrivaled impact, surpassing 10 million views in 26 hours and 20 million views in about six days after its release on YouTube. Even the choreography video has an amazing number of views.

TREASURE is a 12-member rookie group that YG introduced four years after BLACKPINK. They drew attention from the beginning, especially in the global market.
