Boy group EXO's leader and actor Suho will reportedly start his mandatory national service on May 14.
According to an exclusive coverage from Star News on May 4, Suho (Kim Junmyeon, 28) will enter the military training camp on May 14. He will become the third EXO member to fulfill his mandatory military service after Xiumin and D.O..
Suho also informed EXO's fan club community on Lysn of his own military enlistment.
The singer wrote, "I will soon serve my mandatory military service as of May 14. During that time, I think we'll really miss EXO-L."
Suho made his debut as an EXO member in 2012, with massive hits including 'MAMA', 'Growl', 'CALL ME BABY', 'LOVE ME RIGHT', 'Ko Ko Bop', 'LOVE SHOT' and most recently 'Obsession'.
He also released his first solo album 'Self-Portrait' in March this year. After its release, 'Self-portrait' proved Suho's global popularity by sweeping the No. 1 spot on various music charts, including Hanteo Chart, Sinara Records, Yes24 and Hot Tracks, as well as topping iTunes Top Albums Chart in 53 regions around the world, and topping the Digital Album Sales Chart of Chinese QQ Music, Kugou Music and Kuwo Music.
Suho challenged acting as well as singing. He showed off his acting skills by appearing in the dramas 'The Universe's Star', 'Rich Man', the movies 'One Way Trip' (directed by Choi Jung Yeol), 'Middle School Girl A' (directed by Lee Kyung Sup), 'The Present' (directed by Heo Jin Ho), and the musicals 'The Last Kiss' and 'The Man Who Laughs'.
