Girl group BLACKPINK has completed their first full-length album and is planning their activities one after another starting June.
YG Entertainment announced in a fan notice on May 18 that "BLACKPINK has finished recording all of their new songs, which are more than 10 songs, and completed the first full-length album."
In addition, YG also revealed BLACKPINK's upcoming activities. The girls' official comeback in June will start a large-scale project that will continue into the second half of 2020.
The June's song will be the pre-released title song, YG said, adding that the members are currently finishing their final works, including preparing for music video shooting and practicing choreography.
YG also announced that a second special song is scheduled to be released between July and August. However, they asked for the fans' understanding, saying, "It is difficult to tell the details in advance due to internal circumstances."
BLACKPINK's first full-length album will be out in September.
"As it is the group's first full-length album in a long time, we would like to introduce it through 3 stages, to have more opportunities to visit fans than ever with more content and performances," YG explained.
