As a way to help out families affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, the hip-hop music label held an online concert through different streaming platforms for their benefit.

On April 12, hip-hop label AOMG took over Twitch and YouTube through “AOMG Quarantine Nonstop Live” The stream, which lasted for nine hours, hoped to promote social distancing measures and served as a fundraiser for families hit hard by the COVID-19 outbreak.

From 12 AM to 3 PM KST, YouTube and Twitch were livened up by the sounds of AOMG artists and their musician friends. The lineup for “AOMG Quarantine Nonstop Live” included the likes of Jay Park, Simon D, Woo Won Jae, Hoody, Ugly Duck, DJ Pumkin and ELO. Overall, 17 artists graced the stream with performances.

A representative from AOMG stated that they were able to gather 8,465,000 won from donations made by the viewers of the stream. The cash donations will be given to an unnamed charity that aids families struggling with the COVID-19 crisis in full, and the label expressed their gratitude to the viewers of the stream.

Prior to this fundraiser, AOMG’s artists have taken individual steps to help COVID-19 efforts. Rappers Simon D and Gray both donated 50 million won to the Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief, while Loco donated 30 million won to World Vision Korea.
