Girls’ Generation’s YoonA has officially confirmed for the upcoming JTBC drama “Hush” (working title)!
Based on Jung Jin Young’s novel “Silence Warning” (literal title), “Hush” is an office drama about newspaper reporters and their everyday struggles, problems, and ethical dilemmas. The drama will paint the concerns that reflect those of all office employees rather than just reporters.
YoonA joins actor Hwang Jung Min — who is returning to dramas for the first time in eight years — in the cast, playing the role of the intern reporter Lee Ji Soo, a bold character who isn’t afraid to say what needs to be said, even during a job interview. When she meets Han Joon Hyuk (Hwang Jung Min) as her mentor, she begins to dream of becoming a true journalist.
“Hush” is slated to air sometime in the second half of the year.
