The original film is a story of growth that follows 14 years of friendship, love, respect, and jealousy that two friends go through after first meeting at the age of 13. The movie instantly became a hot topic in China because it was produced by Peter Chan of “Comrades: Almost a Love Story.” For the very first time, the leading actresses also became co-recipients of the Best Actress Award at the Golden Horse Awards, a film festival held in Taiwan.

After the Korean remake was confirmed last year, Kim Da Mi was confirmed to star as one of the leads.

Jeon So Nee made her debut in 2014 with the independent film “Photo” and fell into the spotlight in 2018 with her role in tvN drama “Encounter” as one of Park Bo Gum‘s fellow alumni. She is currently appearing in tvN’s “When My Love Blooms” as the younger counterpart of Lee Bo Young and opposite of GOT7‘s Jinyoung.
