On January 28 local time, the charity concert—which was organized by French first lady Brigitte Macron—aired on the France 2 channel.
In addition to performing their hit single “Pink Venom,” BLACKPINK prepared a special performance of their latest title track “Shut Down” that was accompanied by Swedish violinist Daniel Lozakovich. (“Shut Down” famously samples Paganini’s violin concerto “La Campanella,” making it the perfect song for such a collaboration with a classical musician.)
Other performers at Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes included Pharrell Williams, Kid Cudi, and more.
