Thanks to Google Analytics, it’s pretty easy to go back and look at data collected by the search engine over the years and determine what kinds of trends have come and gone.
Using this ability, it’s possible to go back and look at trends in genres such as K-Pop. Though it can’t be completely confirmed that just Google searches alone can give a totally accurate look into the past, but it can show how different K-Pop artists, such as soloists, have generally risen and fallen in popularity over the years.
These were the five most popular K-Pop soloists each year over the last decade based on Google searches, along with how all 19 soloists compared to each other over the entirety of the decade in the last graph. Each graph shows the percentage of Google searches that each soloist had in relation to each other, to give an idea of how they compare to one another!
