Fans are loving the new song, declaring it a summer hit that stays true to HyunA’s unique artistry.

It’s not surprising that the song is a hit, considering the creative minds behind its creation. P NATION‘s PSY, HyunA, and DAWN are all credited for “Nabillera’s” creation with three additional talented musicians.

Daniel Caesar is credited for the song’s lyrics, composition, and arrangement. He is a Swedish artist with an impressive list of K-Pop songwriting credits under his belt. From Red Velvet‘s smash hit “Red Flavor” to TXT‘s “LOSER=LOVER,” it seems that the songs he helps create turn to gold.

Jerker Hansson was also involved in the creation of the track and has worked on the popular songs “Slow Dance” by AJ Mitchell (featuring Ava Max) and Jess Glynne‘s “I’ll Be There.”

Finally, Swedish musician Johanna Söderberg was credited as a composer and lyricist, and she has an interesting past connection to K-Pop.

Johanna Söderberg is in the Swedish folk duo, First Aid Kit, along with her sister Klara Söderberg. The two formed their group in 2007 while they were still teenagers and have been releasing music and touring together as First Aid Kit ever since.

For some K-Pop fans, you may know Johanna Söderberg as MoA (also known as MoaMelody, or Melody of Angel). MoA was a mysterious K-Pop cover artist on YouTube in the early 2010s who covered popular K-Pop and J-Pop songs, mostly in English.

MoA covered a variety of second-generation K-Pop artists such as KARA, 2NE1, BIGBANG, Girls’ Generation, HyunA’s former group 4MINUTE, and even HyunA’s solo song “Change.”

MoA gained an impressive fanbase at the time and continued releasing covers until 2011, when she entered an official song cover contest for 2NE1’s “Lonely,” hoping to meet the members at their first solo concert in Seoul.

To enter the contest, MoA revealed her face on camera for the first time, and fans of First Aid Kit recognized the star, identifying her as Johanna Söderberg.

After she was identified, her YouTube channel disappeared. She reportedly had to take down the content because of the contract she signed with her label.

Her covers remain on various YouTube channels, saved by fans before MoA’s YouTube channel was deleted. As recently as last year, a few K-Pop fans shared memories of Johanna Söderberg’s K-Pop covers and discussed how it must not have been easy to shut down her channel as she seemed to enjoy making the covers and was passionate about K-Pop.

Johanna has not publicly commented on her K-Pop past, but it seems the talented musician’s love for the genre lives on with her collaboration with HyunA.
