Aespa‘s NingNing is praised for her unreal visuals in throwback image from an iconic aespa photoshoot, but some netizens hilariously see only NCT‘s Sungchan.
Along with her members, NingNing has proven time and time again that she is a force to be reckoned with as a visual.
Though if that was ever in doubt, her performance at SMTOWN LIVE 2022 definitely proves it!
NingNing has served so many iconic looks that it’s impossible to pick one over the other. Sometimes, the looks are so legendary that they practically demand to be constantly revisited. NingNing’s photoshoot for Harper’s Bazaar in December 2021 is one such instance.
NingNing looked so good that many months later MYs are still raving about it.
Except, when it came up some netizens couldn’t help but point out that this picture looked familiar. In fact, the first thought on many people’s minds was, “Why does she look like Sungchan?”
According to some netizens, NingNing resembles NCT’s Sungchan so much, that the picture could just as well be of “Sungchan in a wig.”
As soon as this was pointed out, both MYs and NCTzens hilariously flooded the comments saying that it is now impossible to unsee Sungchan in NingNing’s picture.
Sungchan did sport a similar hair color to NingNing’s around the same time that images of aespa’s Harper’s Bazaar shoot came out, and it shows that there may actually be some similarities.
Fans even found an explanation as to why Sungchan has yet to join a fixed NCT unit!
While everyone is likely to see it differently, so far many have been taken with the resemblance between the two idols. What do you think?
