Since the MV's view count became one of the most important measures for an artist's popularity, fans have paid more attention to the number of subscribers on their idols' YouTube channel. Below are the 15 K-Pop YouTube channels from male artists which gained the most new subscribers in March 2021.
15. EXO Lay
EXO Lay garnered 110,000 new subscribers last month, making his total number of subscribers 1.4 million.
14. SHINee
Following their long-awaited comeback with 'Don’t Call Me', SHINee, now active as 4 members, gained 120,000 subscribers and has 2 million in total. The 2nd-generation boy group is expected to grow further as they announced their comeback with a repackaged album this month.
13. ENHYPEN
The I-LAND boys ENHYPEN also gained 120,000 subscribers in March and now have 2.3 million subscribers.
12. NCT DREAM
The youngest team of NCT collected another 140,000 subscribers in March, adding up to their total of 2.6 million .
11. WayV
Meanwhile, this team of NCT now have 2.6 million subscribers, as they gained 150,000 new ones in the past month.
10. ASTRO
ASTRO added 150,000 new subscribers to their total 4 million. The boys are preparing for a comeback, too.
9. EXO
EXO are the third group to have attracted 150,000 new subscribers in March, amassing 7.3 million overall.
8. NCT
The whole of NCT collected another 170,000 subscribers and now have 3.4 million in total.
7. TXT
TXT also saw a 170,000 increase in subscribers in the past month and currently have 6.3 million in total.
6. TREASURE
YG Entertainment’s rookie boy-group TREASURE gained 190,000 new subscribers, putting them at 3.7 million total.
5. NCT 127
NCT 127 gained 200,000 subscribers in March, adding up to 3 million overall.
4. GOT7 Jackson Wang
Jackson Wang also gained 200,000 new subscribers, putting him at 3.8 million in total.
3. iKON
Moving up a huge 17 spots from last month, iKON gained 210,000 subscribers over that time, earning them 8 million in total.
2. Stray Kids
The JYP Entertainment's group gained 230,000 new subscribers and currently have 5.9 million in total.
1. BTS
Not surprising, BTS stay at the top with a 1.3 million subscriber gain in March, contributing to their total of 46.8 million subscribers.
